The high
solids, all-weather, deep penetrating anti-corrosive primer
 What
is it?
Penetrol CIP is a highly effective bright red/brown primer for
rusted surfaces with the outstanding penetrating properties of Penetrol
... better than water. It makes a secure base on hand-cleaned steel
for any type of paint including 2-part Epoxy, Urethane, Vinyl, Chorinated
Rubber and conventional finishes. Granular or tightly bonded rust
need not be removed. High in solids, Penetrol CIP is economical an
excellent all weather and general maintenance primer for all metals.
What does it do?
Penetrol CIP penetrates deeply into the metal surface and bonds
granular rust into a tough, protective coating. Unlike conventional
primers, Penetrol CIP does not 'bridge' over the many imperfections
present on any steel surface, but fills every pinhole, driving out
air and moisture ... the 'food' rust needs to grow. Penetrol CIP has
excellent resistance to water immersion and condensation and helps
in descaling heavy rust deposits. It is highly flexible, will not
flake, crack or peel and does not need sanding prior to top-coating.
Where to use it?
Use Penetrol CIP on all rusted and corroded surfaces where a tough
flexible primer is needed under all types of conventional and synthetic
coatings. It performs well even when difficult drying conditions exist
such as in relative high humidity or low temperatures.

Penetrol CIP prepares rusted surfaces for painting:
·
STOPS RUST ON OLD STEEL AND PROTECTS NEW STEEL FROM CORROSION
·
CAN BE OVERCOATED WITH ANY PAINT
Directions for use
Remove loose paint, rust, oil and grease etc
Apply a saturating coat of Penetrol CIP by brush, roller or spray.
Where Penetrol CIP has loosened rust, spot prime again.
