A commercial grade all weather primer made with Penetrol. Originally developed and proven as a ballast tank coating, it makes a secure base on hand cleaned steel for any type of topcoat including two-part epoxies, chlorinated rubber, antifoulings and conventional finishes. With its deep penetrating powers it is a good protective coating on wooden hulls prior to painting.

Penetrol C.I.P. has excellent restistance to water immersion and condensation and helps in de-scaling heavy rust deposits. Highly flexible, it will not crack, blister or peel and does not need sanding prior to top coating.
