Cedar and other softwood shingles deteriorate unless maintained. Specially developed for the restoration and maintenance of wooden shingle roofs, CWF ROOF GRADE is an easy to use and effective treatment to keep shingle in sound condition at a fraction of replacement cost.

Moisture Attack
CWF ROOF GRADE penetrates deep into shingles, replacing the natural water repelling chemicals lost through the first years of weathering. Whilst water may stand on treated shingles during rain, it does not soak into the wood. After a few minutes of breeze and sunshine the shingles are dry again. They are not shocked by being alternatively soaked and dried out rapidly.

Ultraviolet Attack
Ultraviolet light attacks the wood fibre in shingles and generates heat, which bakes out the natural binding resins causing the shingles to become brittle and punky. CWF ROOF GRADE replaces the natural binder resins adding significantly to the life of the shingles.

Shingles protected against moisture and ultraviolet light are less susceptible to attack from moss, fungus and insects.
CWF ROOF GRADE is easily applied with a low pressure airless sprayer or a garden sprayer.
